Over the past year, we have all experienced challenges, and difficult times. We have also
learned to appreciate the things we once took for granted. Our safety and the safety of our community has become more important than ever. COVID has changed the world as we knew it and we have all made changes to adapt.
The Ilderton Agricultural Society Board of Directors would like to communicate the cancellation of a ‘Normal’ 2021 Ilderton Fair.
Everyone is facing unprecedented challenges, and the safety of our guests and volunteers is paramount. This means that we will not be planning an Ilderton Fair for a scenario which involves 100s of people on the Fairgrounds. Further, we will not be hosting a Midway for 2021. We have come to the decision based on current Public Health recommendations that this type of Ilderton Fair is not possible.
Due to these circumstances, we have an opportunity to be creative and enlist non-traditional methods to engage our community!
This decision was not an easy one. However, we feel strongly that we have made the right choice for our community, friends, and families. The health and safety of all of you is and always will be a top priority!
We will work diligently with our committees to plan and deliver events and competitions for our community. Save the dates of October 1st, 2nd and 3rd in your calendar, and plan to engage with the Ilderton Agricultural Society throughout 2021!
To all our partners, volunteers and families that support our organization, we thank you for your continued support.
