Open to elementary schools in the townships of Middlesex Centre, Lucan-Biddulph, East and West Williams, and McGillivray.

Schools are invited to produce a display showcasing student work. Display tables (approximately 8 feet x 3 feet) will be provided. Schools may choose to bring a tablecloth to cover the table for decoration.
- Must include work from ALL divisions, co-ordinated into a display.
- Can include arts, crafts, models or sculptures, projects, booklets, creative writing, poetry, photos etc.
- Should prominently include the name of the school. Individual pieces of student work should include the name
and grade of the student who created it.
Each participating school will be awarded a prize of $100.00. The Committee will not be responsible for damage or loss of
materials or equipment.
All school displays must be set up in the Ilderton Arena (hockey/skating side) on Thursday, September 26th between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. They are to be exhibited from Friday, September 27th to Sunday, September 29th. Exhibits must be left in place at the arena until 4:30 p.m. on Sunday to qualify for the money awarded. The display must be picked up before 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 29th. The Directors of the Ilderton Agricultural Society will not be responsible for any displays left after this time.
Class 48 – Class Book Competition

This competition is open to primary classes – Kindergarten and Grades 1, 2 & 3
Section A: Kindergarten to Grade 1
Section B: Grade 2 to Grade 3
Guidelines: Write a class book. Classes are encouraged to write about their school, community or the Ilderton Fair. The book should be no larger than 12 x 18. All students in the class must contribute to the book.
Prizes are awarded as follows:
1st place – $25 gift card to Scholar’s Choice
2nd place – $15 gift card to Scholar’s Choice
3rd place – $10 gift card to Scholar’s Choice
Class books can be dropped off at the arena for judging between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th. Judging will take place at 5:30 p.m. Class books will be displayed at the Fair from Friday, September 27th – Sunday, September 29th, 2019.
Prizes for school displays and winning class books will be given to school representatives on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 between 4:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. in the arena when they arrive to pick up their school displays. Any prize money not picked up will be mailed to the school.
